Detail
I hope you can all join me… This is my last official meet up / event for the year! It’s going to be epic!
In Partnership with Lenslight – NiSi Filters UK
We will start off at the carpark and head over to a few locations on the shores of Buttermere, but feel free to choose your own place / composition, we are not stuck to just one location. Depending on how the day goes, I would like to finish off at Crummock Water with the three trees.
We will start early at Gatesgarth Car Park, 7am – around £5 for parking. Heading to the shores of Buttermere for a few classic compositions.
From here around lunch or just after midday we will make plans to head over to Crummock Water. This is all of course subject to weather and changes throughout the day. The main Itinerary is set for Buttermere…
As always, this is a fun day of photography with us all getting at least one or two keepers. I’m really looking forward to this and meeting you all! Thank you so much for a year of meetups with such talented people, a big finish to my events for this year at the spectacular Buttermere.
If you can make it, drop me a message below, thank you and…
Sithee!
Edit:
A side meeting from my good pal Mikey if your interested drop a message on the facebook group or post down below…
Reet then you ‘orrible lot! As we all know, next Saturday is the Buttermere meetup. I’m planning, weather permitting, a trip up to Warnscale bothy for sunset on the Friday night. I’ll be parking at Honister slate mine and taking the mine track up to Dubs hut and then across to Warnscale, it’s a relatively gentle stroll, a wee bit steep up the track but nothing challenging.
I’m hoping to be at the mine carpark for about 3pm, which should be plenty of time for a fairly easy paced walk to the bothy. After the bothy, I was thinking a couple of pints in the Bridge in Buttermere village may be in order, it would be the Fish Inn but they don’t allow dogs!
Anyone up for this little side jaunt and warm up for Mali Davies main event, let me know here or drop me a message.
