Hello everyone, here’s my first post in conjunction with publishing my vlog – part one from Northumberland. I’m very excited to give more information about the vlog and most of all the photographs I took on this landscape photography shoot.

To start, my trip to Northumberland was a family holiday, and I’m very fortunate to have a very supportive family who share my enthusiasm for creativity and the need to create as much as possible. My wife plays piano, keyboards and Hammond organ and I’ve got two wonderful little girls who are happy to shout SITHEE! at their daddy as much as possible 🙂 So while we where in Northumberland for a holiday and visiting a good friend and their family, I always get a chance to go and shout the landscape. I was lucky with conditions at most locations, with photography and vlogs to come from Dunstanburgh rocks of doom, to Holy Island. I think its going to be broke down into three videos with lots and lots of images to edit. So I hope you stick around for all of it… Video below of my first instalment, please take the time to watch and don’t forget to subscribe to my channel.
Now, the images, the photography! Which is for me why I do what I do. First and foremost it always has to be about the creation of the best images I can no matter what the conditions are or where ever I am. I truly believe there is always a shot to be had. Lets start with my comparison shots for the NiSi before and after…
As an Ambassador you may think? he’s not impartial, your right, I’m a NiSi Ambassador but what I will tell you, I pride myself on being honest and saying it like it is! NiSi filters work for me and I enjoy using them because they are spot on. Can’t say any more, they work, they are high quality and the brand has a great bunch of super talented photographers I really enjoy spending time with. So without further a do, below are the images from my before and after, watch the vlog to hear what I have to say.

I won’t go into detail on here about the above images, because I want you to watch the video 🙂 what I will mention is my other images below. I was fortunate to get the conditions for my first visit, but lets get into this more… One visit and getting the shots you can, well its not about the one time. The one visit, I see this vlog visit and photoshoot as a repeat process, I will be going back here again and again. Why? because on this visit I took the simple approach, you have to when you have limited time. You have to make sure you get in a position to get at least one shot you will be happy with but this location offers so so much more. Just to the north side of the lighthouse there are compositions all along that coastline with amazing rocks for foreground subject. This is why I will be going back, because I believe every place has more, has a bigger story that will only improve with repeat visits. See my images below from my first visit and come back next year to compare how the story unfolds…
